Editorial Standards
How financial information, legal rules, calculations, company details and consumer guidance are reviewed before publication.
Primary-source first
Legal and regulatory claims should be based on Kentucky statutes, Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions material and enacted legislation before secondary summaries are used.
Company-identity verification
Legal entity, DBA, license references and people are tied to named sources. The site does not invent staff biographies, professional credentials, ratings or licensing claims.
Calculation standard
Every calculator or example states the formula, amount, term and included fees. Illustrative annualized percentages are labeled as estimates and are not presented as a contract APR.
Material-change review
Fee limits, proceeds caps, transaction-fee rules and eligibility requirements should be rechecked when Kentucky law or DFI regulations change.
Corrections
If a source conflicts with another source, the higher-authority source controls. A material error affecting cost, eligibility, licensing or consumer-protection guidance should be corrected promptly and consistently across the site.
Consumer-first presentation
Important costs, risks and limits should be visible before calls to action. Short-term credit should not be presented as guaranteed, risk-free or suitable for ongoing budget deficits.
